the problem is im pretty strapped for cash on the camera part i might take out loan but was hopeing that by now there might be some sort of camera for mabey 2,000 or less i have found many nice cameras for 3500 and up also it needs to be able to record stereo sound like these cameras, Canon XH G1 and Sony Professional HVR-Z1U 3CCD, possibly mabey a camera simular to these from 5 or 6 years ago ?
also internal harddrive mabey?

Which Camcorder Should I Get?

Hi, I am looking to invest in a higher grade consumer camcorder (shoulder mount) and I found a store in my area that offers two cameras for around the same price.
The Sony HVR-HD1000U (HD) – $1650http://www.vistek.ca/store/ProVideoCamco…
and
The Panasonic AGDVC20P (Non-HD) – $1500http://www.vistek.ca/store/ProVideoCamco…
The Panasonic is Non-HD but it has a 3CCD sensor which the Sony doesn’t. My school’s new media course has the Panasonic model. I have used it before and loved it. I always wanted to make HD Videos however, as we have a large HDTV in our house and my mac is powerful enough to handle HD editing.
Just want to hear people’s opinions as to what I should get.
