these are the 2 brands that I think I’ve got it narrowed down to. one Panasonic model in particular that I was playing around with at Best Buy was the Panasonic – Palmcorder MiniDV 3.1MP Digital Camcorder Model: PV-GS320. if any of you own one, can you explain to me why newer models with the 3CCD (color improvement) feature all have such a low optical zoom? 10X seems to be as high as they go. I need a better zoom than that but I also don’t want to settle for grainy digital video like my old Canon ZR90 produces. and for any of you who own a Sony HC38 model, what do you think about it? thanks for any help I get!
