Looking For A New Camcorder: Help Please?

I am very picky with details because I love camcorders. These are what I want.
1) A Lens hood
2) 3CCD
3) HD
4) Good Quality
5)Hard Disk Drive (if possible)
6) I want to try to keep it under $1000 (if possible)

   If you are THAT picky about your video, then you will not be using a consumer hard disc drive camcorder. And certainly not anything that uses AVCHD/MTS for high definition video.
   The closest I can get is the Sony HVR-A1.
   Lens hood
   Single CMOS
   MiniDV tape capturing HDV (or DV or DV wirescreen)
   Closer to $2,000.
   Or…
   Canon GL2
   Lens hood
   3CCD
   Standard definition only.
   miniDV tape
   closer to $1,300
   Both have audio-in connections, manual audio control and other easily accessible (on the outside of the camcorder) manual controls.
