This summer I’m going to be making videos for YouTube, but I need a camcorder. I’m pretty sure I need a hard drive camcorder, and I’m hopeing for it to be in the under $300 range. I don’t need anything fancy, I just need it to get the job done.
It needs to be able to work with the Windows MediaMaker thingy.
Also, if I get the camera, what else will I need? A memory card, USB cable?

Windows Movie Maker doesn’t support the footage from hard drive camcorders. You can get editors that will support it, but why are you pretty sure you need a hard drive camcorder?
You can go for : Sony Handycam HDR-SR7, The Hottest Camcorder of 2008.

you pretty much got it it all, and you should buy a mac not a pc. I hate PCs they are crappy. Moviemaker is sooo cheap and the quality is cheap
if you want a good music video than you have to go “fancy”
