When I Connect My Camcorder To My Computer, Nothing Opens On My Computer. How Do I Get The Film Onto The Comp?

I have a Samsung SC-D353. I downloaded the driver software off of the samesung website. At first, when i plugged in the camcorder, something would pop up in the bottom right corner of my screen, now that doesnt happen anymore. How do I open the camcorder information on my computer? Im totally confused.

   you would open up my computer and go to the usb port that it was plugged into, it is represented by like, e, f, g, etc. and open up the file the movie’s in, look in there for what you want to download, click copy, and move it to where you want it to go.
   The end
