pkinvest Is it worth it to spend that much on an old camera like the XL1 or XL1s with technology advancing as it is? I want to be able to switch in and out of focus quickly and be able to zoom pretty fast too.

October 30th, 2009 pkinvest This question is only for filmmakers please. Obviously cost is a concern but overall what’s the best camera for great quality sound (XLR mic inputs?) great picture (3CCD? HD?) and ease-of-editing. Would really appreciate informed opinions. Thanks a lot!

October 26th, 2009 pkinvest the problem is im pretty strapped for cash on the camera part i might take out loan but was hopeing that by now there might be some sort of camera for mabey 2,000 or less i have found many nice cameras for 3500 and up also it needs to be able to record stereo sound like these cameras, Canon XH G1 and Sony Professional HVR-Z1U 3CCD, possibly mabey a camera simular to these from 5 or 6 years ago ?
also internal harddrive mabey?
