Who Makes A Better Mini-dv Camcorder: Panasonic Or Sony?

these are the 2 brands that I think I’ve got it narrowed down to. one Panasonic model in particular that I was playing around with at Best Buy was the Panasonic – Palmcorder MiniDV 3.1MP Digital Camcorder Model: PV-GS320. if any of you own one, can you explain to me why newer models with the 3CCD (color improvement) feature all have such a low optical zoom? 10X seems to be as high as they go. I need a better zoom than that but I also don’t want to settle for grainy digital video like my old Canon ZR90 produces. and for any of you who own a Sony HC38 model, what do you think about it? thanks for any help I get!

Can I Play Both In My Panasonic Pv Gs 320 Camcorder?mini Dv Tape And Super Mini Dv Tape,?

I have a new Panasonic 3ccd mini dv camcorder PV GS 320 camcorder. I placed a mini DV tape that has some film my friend shot on his camera, (a sony).
I can’t view the content as when I play it it says wrong format on the screen.
Is there a way around this or is the tape just not compatible with the Panasonic although its a mini DV and it fits in well and plays?

The Panasonic Dvx100b 3ccd Non Hi-def Pro Sumer Or A Consumer Hi-def Camcorder Whats Better?

The Panasonic DVX100b 3ccd non hi-def prosumer or a consumer hi-def like the cannon hv30 vixio hd camcorder whats better? What is a better investment? Im sure hd may have a brighter colors but the dvx100b might weight it out on clearity of the pic, and I believe the dvx100b can still be formatted to blue rey not sure though. Please throw any and all answers at me, all are welcomed. Thank you.
