pkinvest i want to buy a camcorder but not spend to much money on it. Which is the best type like dvd , dv and all these other types. what do they all mean? if you dont buy a dvd camcorder, can you copy videos to dvds from say a dv camcorder?

2 Comments » October 12th, 2009 pkinvest OK. I am from the U.S., and I will be going on a tour to Dubai, Singapore, and Mauritius. I need a camcorder that is able to play back its recorded videos by connecting it directly to the TVs in these places, all of which use different TV color systems. So what type of camcorder is best for me? My first preference is a MiniDV type camcorder.
