pkinvest Hi there – what is the differnece between a Samsung SMX-F 30 camcorder and a Samsung F30 camcorder – looked on internet some advertise as one others as the alternate – are they the same camcorder with some just leaving the SMX bit out?

He has been looking at this one “CANON DM-XM1 XM1E 3CCD SEMI-PRO MINI DV CAMCORDER” on eBay but I’m wondering if anyone can suggest a good ’starter’ camera for him? Xxx

Obviously cost is a concern but overall what’s the best camera for great quality sound (XLR mic inputs?) great picture (3CCD? HD?) and ease-of-editing. Would really appreciate informed opinions. October 24th, 2009 pkinvest The Panasonic DVX100b 3ccd non hi-def prosumer or a consumer hi-def like the cannon hv30 vixio hd camcorder whats better? What is a better investment? Im sure hd may have a brighter colors but the dvx100b might weight it out on clearity of the pic, and I believe the dvx100b can still be formatted to blue rey not sure though. Please throw any and all answers at me, all are welcomed. Thank you.
